Vision
A Uganda where giving defines our national identity through a thriving philanthropy ecosystem characterized by cultural integration of charitable values, data-driven informed practice, capable and well-resourced organizations, enabling policies and structures, and collaborative cross-sector action across all one hundred thirty-five districts.
What We Do
Care Convention Network Uganda serves as Uganda’s premier philanthropy mobilization and ecosystem-building organization. We coordinate the nation’s largest annual charitable mobilization while simultaneously strengthening the infrastructure that enables effective giving throughout the year. Our work encompasses direct implementation, capacity building, knowledge generation, policy advocacy, and stakeholder coordination across all sectors of Ugandan society.
At the heart of our operations is the annual Uganda Cares Convention, which brings together Civil Society Organizations, Corporate Sector representatives, Government Agencies, and citizens in a coordinated week of charitable action.

CCNU operates through an integrated model that combines mass mobilization with professional philanthropy practice, making us unique in the East African philanthropic landscape. Our approach recognizes that building a sustainable culture of giving requires both grassroots participation and systematic strengthening of the organizations and structures that facilitate charitable action.

Beyond coordinating Uganda’s largest annual philanthropic mobilization, CCNU serves as infrastructure for Uganda’s entire giving sector.
